Order & Shipping Policy

Do I need to register in order to place an order?

We recommend that all our customers register with us, to get the best service and offers
available. Registered customers have benefits of easy return/exchange and can enroll to
membership programs to avail offers. However, you can also checkout as a guest.

Are the products listed original and genuine?
Yes. All listed products on SYLK are original and genuine product, made on order by the Designer
Label. Almost all products are handmade and one of a kind, therefore, little variation in each
products are expected.

What is the Price Match Guarantee?
We have best price mentioned of all listed products. We do not charge anything extra than the
original designer price. Find the product for less elsewhere and we’ll match the price.
*Please note: The final price if matched will be sole discretion of SYLK.

What size should I order?
The size chart that is available on each product page as ‘What’s my Size?’ and will solve your sizing
queries. You can also send your body measurements on WhatsApp +91 9953803971 with order
number. There is also a possibility that you may need to alter the product to ensure that it properly
fits you due to variation in the size of the customer and the measurements of the product that may
vary from one label to another. If you have detailed questions about the sizing of a particular

How do I know my order has been placed?
Upon placing your order, you will see an order confirmation number on your screen. You will also
receive an email confirmation from us. In case there are any issues with processing your order, you
will be notified with an email/WhatsApp.

Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel order within 24 hours. Once the order is processed, we shall not be able to process
the cancellation. Store Credit will be provided against the cancellation of an order after deducting
INR 500/- for clothing and INR 200/- for accessory/lifestyle products order.

What if my order is delayed?
We will notify estimated dispatch date to the customer. We will be in constant touch with customer
for urgent orders and will try our best to fulfill on promised date.

However, SYLK is not liable for any delay of the product(s) purchased due to any reason which is
beyond its reasonable control. Money refund criteria is only applicable if delivery delay is more
than 25 business days from stated dispatch date. It is therefore advisable that you place your order
well in advance. Any delay in delivery caused by courier partner internal delays, weather
conditions, unforeseen circumstances or Force Majeure events, shall not be entertained as a
reason for return.

Are there any disclaimers? What about exactness of the product?
a. DISCLAIMER: SYLK hereby disclaims any guarantees of exactness as to the finish or
appearance of the product/merchandise as ordered by you. SYLK expressly disclaim any
warranties or representations (express or implied) in respect of quality, suitability,
accuracy, reliability, completeness, timeliness, performance, safety, merchantability, fitness
for a particular purpose, or legality of the products listed or displayed or transacted or the
content (including product information and/or specifications) on the Website.
b. NEED FOR ALTERATION: There is also a possibility that you may need to alter the product
to ensure that it properly fits you due to variation in the size of the customer and the
measurements of the product that may vary from one label to another.
c. QUALITY & EXPECTATIONS: SYLK endeavors to provide you product which is of best
quality. However SYLK does not take any guarantee any exactness as many of these
products are handmade and one of a kind and therefore there may be little variation in each
piece. SYLK has taken all steps to ensure that the colour, size, shapes, design and other
features of the products that are displayed on our Website is accurately produced by the
designer. All the products go through quality check before dispatching. However the
graphical display i.e. visuals of the products would be dependent upon the product shoot
lightings and the configuration of your computer resource. SYLK does not guarantee that
the colour of products displayed on the Website in your computer resource accurately
represents the actual product.
d. COLOUR: SYLK tries to depict colour as exactly as possible. Still due to photo shoot lighting
and computer/device screen resolution, colour may vary. Slight variation in colour shall not
be entertained as a reason for return.

 

SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY


DOMESTIC SHIPPING
We offer free shipping pan India on all Prepaid Payment orders i.e Credit Card/Debit
Card/UPI/Net Banking/Wallets, otherwise a nominal charge for COD (Cash on delivery) shipping
will be added during the check out.


INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We ship worldwide. International shipping charges are calculated at the time of check out
depending upon your location.
We offer free international shipping on orders above $300.


DELIVERY TIME

PROCESSING TIME: It usually takes 5-7 business days for ‘Ready to ship’ item and 20-25 business
days for ‘Custom made orders’ for processing and to pass QC. However, this is subject to
availability.


IN TRANSIT: After dispatching, shipping usually take 4-5 business days for domestic orders and 6-8
days for international orders. We try to dispatch your orders as soon as possible and request you to
be patient with the delivery time of the orders

TRACKING: Once you have placed an order, we will send you a tracking number/ AWB through an
email/WhatsApp. You will be able to view the date of shipment to the date of your item being in the
process of delivery.


DELAY/NON DELIVERY: SYLK shall not be liable for any delay/non-delivery of the product(s) purchased due to any reason which is beyond its reasonable control. It is therefore advisable that you place orders well in advance. Any delay in delivery caused by unforeseen circumstances or
Force Majeure events, shall not be entertained as a reason for return.


TAXES & DUTIES
For customers within India, all prices mentioned on the website are inclusive of GST.

For customers outside India, duties are not included in the price. Customers are responsible for paying any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes if any.  In most cases, customers do not face any customs duty as such, but in case, if the order falls under customs duty, it is necessary to pay these in order to release your order from customs.
